Det är inte bara vi som älskar ostron. Regina och Jens bjuder hem oss på lite ostron. 

Ce n'est pas seulement nous qui aiment les huîtres. Regina et Jens nous invitent chez eux pour quelques huîtres.

It’s not only we who love oysters. Regina and Jens invites us for some oysters.

Kvällen börjar med ett glas vitt.

La soirée commence avec un verre de blanc.

The evening begins with a glass of white.

..och stående mingel med intressanta diskussioner.

..et être debout avec des discussions intéressantes.

.. and standing mingle with interesting discussions.

Och självklart skratt

Et bien sûr, des rires.

And of course, laughter.

På bordet står tillbehören och väntar.

Sur la table les accessoires sont en attente.

On the table are the accessories waiting.

Men ostronen måste öppnas först.

Mais premierment il faut ouvrir des huitres. 

But the oysters must be opened first.

Sen ligger de där och väntar.

Ensuite, ils sont là attendant.

Then they are laying there waiting.

Bara att ta för sig!

Servez-vous!

Just help yourself!

Tillbehören till huvudrätten kommer fram.

Les accessoires pour le plat principal arrivent.

The accessories for the main course arrives.

Grytan ska avsmakas.

La potée doit être dégustée.

The casserole must be tasted.

Vinet hällas upp.

Le vin est versé.

The wine is poured.

Ser gott ut!

C’est l’air bon!

Sen blir det för en kort stund tyst runt bordet när första tuggorna av maten avnjuts. En härligt stark och mustig köttgryta med franskinspiration.

Ensuite, il y a un court moment de silence autour de la table lorsque les premières bouchées de nourriture sont appréciées. Un ragoût de boeuf bien épicé et merveilleusement savoreux avec d'inspiration français.

Then, for a short while, it’s silent around the table when the first bites of food is enjoyed. A wonderfully strong and tastey beef stew with French inspiration.

Skratten tar snart vid igen.

Les rires commencent bientôt à nouveau.

The laughter soon begins again.

Det blir ost efter maten. Alltid gott!!

C’est du fromage après le dîner. Toujours bon!

It’s cheese after the dinner. Always good!

Vi avlsutar med en galet god Calvados! Fast det blev nog mer än ett glas innan vi rullar hem nöjda och glada! Finns det något bättre än att äta god mat tillsammans med underbara vänner?! Knappast..! Snart dags för balkongläge hos oss!

Nous finissons avec un extrement bon Calvados! Bien qu'il ait été probablement plus d’un verre avant que nous rentrons heureux et satisfait! Il n’y a rien de mieux que de manger de la bonne nourriture avec de grands amis!! Il est boientôt temps pour un nouveau rendez-vous sur notre balcon!

We finish with a crazy good Calvados! Though it was probably more than one glass before we roll home happy and satisfied! Is there anything better than eating good food with great friends?! Hardly ..! Time for a balcony get-together soon!
