Helgen efter Paris packar vi om väskan och tar flyget uppåt I landet för att hälsa på hos Peter och Åsa. Vaknar lördag morgon hos dem och njuter av en riktigt god frukost i lugn och ro.
Le week-end après Paris nous refaisons nos valises et prenons un vol au Nord pour rendons visite à Peter et Åsa. Nous nous réveillons le samedi matin chez eux et profitons d'un bon petit-déjeuner en toute tranquillité.
The weekend after Paris we repack our bags and take a flight up to the north to visit Peter and Åsa. We wake up Saturday morning with them and enjoy a nice breakfast in peace and quiet.
Sen drar vi till stan och strosar runt. Hamnar på Torget – Brasserie et Charcuterie, ett franskt matställe mitt i stan! Passar oss perfekt!
Ensuite, nous allons à la ville et nous flânons. Nous nous retrouvons sur la place et nous nous installons au Torget - Brasserie et charcuterie, un restaurant français au milieu de la ville! Ça nous convient parfaitement !
Then we go to town and stroll around. We end up in the square, at Torget - Brasserie et Charcuterie, a French brasserie in the middle of town! Suited us perfectly!
Åsa och Peter verkar också nöjda med valet – eller kanske de är nöjda med valet av varandra!

Och råbiff. Alla ger klart godkänt till rätterna även om ostronen är rätt slabbigt lossskurna och vinägretten innehåller helt felaktigt olja så smakar även dessa bra! Fantastiskt med ett franskt Brasseri uppe i ”urskogarna”
Et le steak tartare. Tout le monde donne sa approbation des plats, même si les huîtres sont coupés mal à droite et la vinaigrette contient, complètement fausse, de l’huile, le goût est quand même si bon! Super avec une brasserie française là-haut «au milieu de nulle part »
And the steak tartare. Everyone gave their approval to all the dishes even if the oysters were cut loose sloppy and the vinaigretten contains completely false oil, the taste is good! Great with a French brasserie up there “in the middle of nowhere”.
Även Tove är nöjd!

Väl hemma fortsätter förstås ätandet på kvällen.. Löjrom och självklart ett glas champagne till!
À la maison nous continuons à manger dans le soir.. Des œufs de corégone et bien sûr un verre de champagne!
At home we continue eating in the evening.. Roe and of course a glass of champagne!
Huvudrätten blir torsk i svamp- och rödvinssås med palsternackspuré. Åsa och Peter är helt klart innekockar som vet vad som gäller just nu – det var nästan identiskt med vad vi åt på Ostra Matsal och Bar den 13:e september! Och lika överraskande och förvånande att en fiskrätt kan bli lika mustig som en kötträtt.
Le plat principal est la morue en sauce aux champignons et vin rouge avec purée de panais. Åsa et Peter est clairement les chefs qui connaissent la mode de la cuisson en ce moment – c’était presque identiques à ce que nous avons mangé à Ostra Salle à Manger et Bar le 13 Septembre! Et aussi surprenant et étonnant qu'un plat de possion peut être aussi corsé comme un plat de viande.
The main course is cod in mushroom and red wine sauce with parsnip puree. Åsa and Peter is clearly the chefs who know the cooking fashon right now - it was almost identical to what we ate at Ostra Dining Room and Bar on September 13th! And it was as surprising as astonishing that a fish dish can be as rich in taste as a meat dish.
Efterrätten står Tove för, en jättegod chokladmousse. Hon är en hejare på att fixa efterrätter och andra sötsaker och hon är bara 11 år!
C’est Tove qui fait le dessert, une mousse délicieuse au chocolat. Elle est talanteuse de faire les desserts et autres sucreries et elle a que 11 ans!
Tove stands for the dessert, a delicious chocolate mousse. She is a whiz at fixing desserts and other sweets and she is only 11 years old!
Peter och Line är nöjda och det är vi också. Åker hem dagen därpå efter en underbar lunch med älggryta och en mumsig kaka efteråt. Såklart Tove som gjort den! En härlig och avkopplande helg med massor av god mat och supertrevligt sällskap. Vi får se till att det inte dröja för länge innan vi ses igen!
Peter et Line sont heureux et nous aussi. Nous rentrons à la maison le lendemain, après un déjeuner merveilleux avec ragoût d'élan et un gâteau délicieux après. C’était bien sûr Tove qui l'a fait! Une belle fin de semaine de détente avec beaucoup de bonne nourriture parmi des gens super sympa. Il faut qu'il ne prenne pas trop longtemps avant de nous rencontrer à nouveau!
Peter and Line is happy and so are we. We go home the following day after a wonderful lunch with moose stew and a yummy cake afterwards. Of course it’s Tove who made it! A lovely, relaxing weekend with lots of good food and super nice company. We have to make sure that it does not take too long before we meet again!
