5:e dagen då vi ska åka hem / Le cinquième jour quand nous rentrons en Suède / The 5th day when it is time to go home

Vaknar upp sista morgonen i Paris. Går till en lyxig chokladbutik för att inta frukost.

Nous nous réveillons le dernier matin à Paris. Nous nous installons dans un boutique de chocolat de luxe pour le petit déjeuner.

We wake up on the last morning in Paris. We go to a luxury chocolate shop to have breakfast.

Urban tar varm choklad som är en gudomligt god och tjock dryck som får en att hamna i himmelriket..

Urban prend un chocolat chaud qui est un boisson divinement bon et épais qui vous rend au paradis..

Urban takes hot chocolate that is a diviningly good and thick drink that takes you to heaven..

Moni tar en cappuccino.. men hur tänkte hon då??? Bara största misstaget på länge!

Moni prend un cappuccino .. mais comment at-elle pensé? La plus grande erreur depuis longtemps!

Moni takes a cappuccino .. but what did she think of?? Just biggest mistake in a long time!

Men hon får väl trösta sig med de galet goda bröden och hemmagjorda marmeladen istället..

Mais elle peut se consoler avec le bon pain et la confiture fait à la maison, à la place..

But she can always console herselve with the crazyngly good bread and homemade marmalade instead..

Det är marknad idag igen och vi njuter av att gå runt bland stånden innan det är dags att gå tillbaka till hotellet, hämta våra väskor och ta oss till flygplatsen.

Il est à nouveau un jour de marché et nous profitons d’aller parmi les étals avant il est temps de revenir à l'hôtel, ramasser nos valises et nous emmenons à l'aéroport.

It is a market day again and we enjoy going around among the stalls before it's time to go back to the hotel, pick up our bags and take us to the airport.

Det kommer nog att dröja innan vi åker tillbaka till Paris, det blir nog andra resmål först, men vi är väldigt nöjda med vår minisemester som kändes väldigt lång under tiden den varade men som när den tog slut, som med alla semestrar, mest verkade som en flyktig dröm.. 

Il tardera sans doute avant que nous reviendrons à Paris, il sera probablement des autres destinations avant, mais nous sommes très heureux avec notre mini-vacances qui se sentait très longtemps pendant ça a duré, mais quand il est fini à la fin, comme pour toutes les vacances, la plupart semblait comme un rêve éphémère..

It will probably be some time before we go back to Paris, it will probably be other destinations first, but we are very pleased with our mini vacation that felt very long while it lasted but when it came to the end, as with all holidays, most seemed as a fleeting dream..

4:e dagen / Le quatrième jour / The fourth day

Sista hela dagen i Paris och vi börjar som vanligt dagen med en fransk frukost på ett café som har det passande namnet Café Paris. 

Le dernier jour (entier) à Paris et nous commençons comme d'habitude la journée avec un petit déjeuner français dans un café qui est convenable nommé Café Paris. 

The last full day in Paris and we start as usual the day with a French breakfast at a café that has the suitable name Café Paris. 

Varma croissanter serveras. Galet gott!

Croissants chauds sont servis. Superbon !

Warm croissants are served. Crazyngly good!

Och ett fluffigt skum på cappuccinon!

Et une mousse moelleux sur le cappuccino!

And a fluffy foam on the cappuccino!

Vädret är bättre idag och vi traskar runt i stan. Tar oss faktiskt till Sacre Ceur då vi båda gillar utsikten därifrån. Vi tar ”baktrapporna”.

Le temps est meilleur aujourd'hui et nous baladons dans la ville. Nous nous dirigons en effet au Sacré Ceur parce que nous aimons tous les deux la vue en haut. Nous prenons " l’escalier de service".

The weather is better today and we stroll around the town. Actually we go to Sacre Ceur as we both like the view from there. We take the "backstairs".

För det är för många utlänningar som trängs på gatan mot Sacre Ceur. Den gatan tar vi inte!

Car il y a trop d'étrangers qui se pressent vers la rue Sacré Ceur. Nous ne prenons pas cette rue!

Because there are too many foreigners crowding the street towards Sacre Ceur. We do not want to take that street!

Vi går vidare på stan och letar efter något ställe att äta middag på till kvällen. Hoppar in på Café Dalayrac och tar fransk tapas, otroligt gott!! Här fick vi idéer med bland annat crème brulé med roquefort och en tonfiskröra med gräslök – så enkelt men ändå så himmelskt gott!

Nous continuons à la ville à la recherche d'un endroit pour dîner le soir. Nous nous installons dans un café et prenons des tapas français, étonnamment bon! Ici, nous avons eu des idées entre autre la crème brûlée au roquefort et une salade de thon avec de la ciboulette - si simple et pourtant si céleste bon!

We continue walking in the town and looking for some place to eat dinner in the evening. We jumps into a cafe and take a French Tapas, amazingly good! Here we got some ideas like crème brûlée with roquefort and a tuna salad with chives - so simple yet so heavenly good!

Och som avslutning en café gourment för Moni med bland annat en härligt sockerseg mango-paj. Så gott!

Et pour finir une café gourment pour Moni, y compris une tarte au mangue merveilleusement. Tellement bon!

And to finish a cafe gourment for Moni, including a delightfully chewy sugar mango pie. So good!

Urban tar en liten ostbricka och vi är båda imponerade av den höga standarden på detta lilla ställe. Visar sig vara ett populärt lunchställe i närheten av ”fina gatorna” så man kan förstå att lägsta nivån måste hållas högt för att överleva. Det här är ett ställe väl värt en omväg för en god lunch! 

På hörnet vid samma gata gör vi både ett impulsköp och ett fynd av sex köttknivar i rött. Nu längtar vi tills vi får använda dem hemma! (Men det är Urban som får bära dem!!)

Urban prend une petite assiette de fromage et nous sommes impressionnés par le haut niveau des plats dans cette petite café. Il se trouve être un endroit populaire pour déjeuner à proximité des " rue de lux" et on peut comprendre que il faut que le niveau doive être haut pour survivre. C'est un endroit vaut la peine d’un détour pour un bon déjeuner!

Au coin de la rue, nous avons fait à la fois un achat impulsif et une bonne affaire de six couteaux à steak en rouge. Maintenant, nous avons hâte de retourner pour les utiliser à la maison! (Mais c'est Urban qui les porte!)

Urban takes a small cheese plate and we are both very impressed by the high standard of this little place. It turns out to be a popular lunch spot near the "luxury streets " so one can understand that the lowest level must be kept high in order to survive. This is a place well worth a detour for a good lunch!

On the corner of the street, we both make an impulse buy and a bargain of six steak knives in red. Now we are inpatient until we get to use them at home! (But it's Urban who has to carrie them!)

På kvällen går vi på teater ”How to become a Parisian in one hour” med Oliver Giraud. Helt underbart rolig – den rekommenderas varmt!!

Sen går vi för att leta en restaurant. Hamnar till slut på ett ställe som verkar bra. Känns lite sorgligt att det är sista kvällen..

Dans la soirée, nous allons au théâtre " Comment devenir parisien dans une heure " avec Oliver Giraud. Absolument merveilleusement drôle - il est fortement recommandé!!

Ensuite, nous allons trouver un restaurant. Nous nous installons dans un endroit qui semble bon. Nous nous sentons un peu triste que c'est la dernière nuit..

In the evening we go to the theater "How to become a Parisian in One Hour" with Oliver Giraud. Absolutely hilariously fun – it’s highly recommended!

Then we go to find a restaurant. We end up in a place that seems good. We feel a bit sad that it's the last night..

Men ostron och champagne gör en alltid glad!

Mais des huîtres et du champagne nous rendons toujours heureux!

But oysters and champagne always makes you happy!

Intressant att man alltid får grovt surdegsbröd till ostron. Bröd som man inte hittar i vanliga brödbutiker där det bara existerar mer eller mindre vitt bröd..

Intéressant qu’on donne toujours le pain au levain complet pour les huîtres. Pain que vous ne trouverez pas dans les boulangeries où il n'existe plus que du pain blanc..

Interesting that you always get the wholemeat sourdough bread for oysters. Bread that you will not find in ordinary bread shops where it exists, more or less, only white bread..

Sen tar vi ankbröst men blir väldigt besvikna då de är för hårt stekta. Urban menar att det är tjänstefel att lyckas med detta i Frankrike och kanske har han rätt..eller kan det har varit så att servitören missförstod oss? Det är inte alltid lätt när både engelska och franska blandas..

Puis nous prenons le magret de canard, mais nous devenons très déçus quand ils sont trop bien cuits. Urban dit que c'est une faute de service, especiellement en France et peut-être qu'il a raison .. ou peut-être le serveur nous a mal compris? Il n'est pas toujours facile quand l'anglais et le français sont mélangés..

Then we take the duck breast but gets very disappointed when it is too well-cooked. Urban says that it is a misconduct to achieve this in France and perhaps he is right.. or it may have been the case that the waiter misunderstood us? It is not always easy when both English and French are mixed..

Hur som helst är i alla falla Monis crème brulé på café gourment-brickan den bästa hon ätit på mycket länge.

En tout cas la crème brûlée sur la plaque de café gourment est le meilleur que Moni avait mangé il y a long temps.

In any case Monis crème brûlée on the café gourment - tray is the best she had eaten in a long time.

Och Urban avslutar middagen med en otroligt god Armanac..

Et Urban termine le dîner avec une très bonne Armanac..

And Urban finishes the dinner with an incredibly good Armanac..

Innan vi ramlar i säng tar vi och slurpar i oss en Mojito Royal på en bar i närheten av hotellet – ett bra avslut på kvällen och vår vistelse. 

Avant que nous tombons dans le lit, nous prenons et vidons un Mojito Royal dans un bar près de l'hôtel - une bonne fin de la soirée et notre séjour.

Before we fall into bed, we take and empty a Mojito Royal at a bar near the hotel - a good termination of the evening and our stay.

3:e dagen/ Le troisième jour / The third day

En regnig dag.

Un jour pluvieux.

A rainy day.

Vi börjar dagen förstås med frukost på ett café. Frasiga croissanter och fancy cappuccino. Mmm!

Nous commençons bien sûr avec un petit déjeuner dans un café. Des croissants croustillants et un cappuccino de fantaisie. Mmm!

Of course we start the day with breakfast in a café. Crispy croissants and fancy cappuccino. Mmm!

Vi går på konstutställning och även om det mesta känns lite som äkta Hötorgskonst hittar vi ändå några intressanta saker.

Nous allons à une exposition d'art. Bien que la plupart des œuvre d’arts sont plus comme de vrais kitsch nous trouvons néanmoins des choses intéressantes.

We go to an art exhibition, and although most of it feels a bit like real Kitsch we find nevertheless some interesting things.

Till och med sånt vi skulle kunnat tänka oss att ha på väggen hemma!

Même des choser que nous aurions imaginé avoir sur le mur à la maison!

Even things that we could imagine to have on the wall at home!

Vi tar en sväng förbi Le Nôtre och köper något gott att tugga på..

Nous passons Le Nôtre et achetons quelque chose pour grignoter..

We pass Le Nôtre and buy something good to chew on..

Foie gras på smördeg och en skiva äpple. Ytterligare något vi skulle vilja försöka göra hemma men då ska vi nog steka äppelskivorna mjuka först och flambera av med lite Calvados..

Foie gras sur pâte feuilletée et une tranche de pomme. Un autre chose que nous aimerions essayer de le faire à la maison mais nous allons probablement faire frire les tranches de pomme un peu tendre premierement et les flamber avec un peu de Calvados..

Foie gras on puff pastry and a slice of apple. Another idea we would like to try to do at home but then we'll probably fry the apple slices soft first and flambé with a little Calvados..

Sen två eclair. En med choklad och den andra ett otroligt verk som hette Eclair Façon Paris Brest. Osannolikt god! 

Puis deux eclair. Un avec du chocolat et l'autre un travail incroyable appelé Eclair Façon Paris Brest. Impensable bon! 

Then two eclair. One with chocolate and the other one an incredible work called Eclair Façon Paris Brest. Unbelieveably good! 

Vi traskar vidare i regnet och går i galet dyra affärer som Le Printemps och Galerie Lafayette där det blir ”se men inte köpa”. Det blir till att roa oss med att stanna vid ett litet vattenhål istället. En öl till Urban och en varm choklad med Grand Marnier till Moni.

Nous continuons à flaner dans la pluie et nous allons aux magasins de luxe folles ; « Le Printemps » et les « Galeries Lafayette » où il devient «Regardez , mais ne pas acheter. " Au lieu d’acheter quelque chose nous nous amusons par  nous installons à un petit point d'eau. Une bière à Urban et un chocolat chaud au Grand Marnier à Moni.

We striwe on in the rain and goes to crazy expensive stores “Le Printemps” and “Galerie Lafayette” where it all becomes " look but do not buy." We have to amuse us instead with a stop at a small watering hole. A beer to Urban and a hot chocolate with Grand Marnier for Moni.

Tar oss sen tillbaka till hotellet och köper lite ”mellanmål” på Le Notre på vägen. Så där galet gott igen och ser på nätet att Le Nôtre finns i Stockholm!! Dit måste vi ta oss!

Nous rentrons ensuite à l'hôtel et achetons en route quelque chose pour le goûter à Le Nôtre. Alors, incroyable bon à nouveau et nous regardons sur le net que Le Nôtre on peu trouver à Stockholm ! Il faut que nous y allions! 

We return to the hotel and on the way back we get some "snack" at Le Notre. So undescriable good again and we see on the net that “Le Nôtre” has a boutique in Stockholm! Where have to go there!

 Framåt kvällen åker vi tillbaka till Le Printemps och träffar Urbans kollega Sandra som bjuder oss på ett glas champagne i Le Printemps vackra bar/restaurang. Jättetrevligt och hoppas vi får se Sandra i Stockholm snart!

Dans la soirée, nous retournons à « Le Printemps » et nous rencontrons sandra, la collègue d’Urban, qui nous offre un verre de champagne au bar de « Le Printemps ». Supersympa et nous esperons que nous allons voir Sandra à Stockholm bientôt!

In the evening, we get back to “Le Printemps2 to meet Urban's colleague Sandra who offers us a glass of champagne at “Le Printemps” beautiful bar. Very nice indead and we do hope we will see Sandra in Stockholm soon!

På vägen tillbaka till hotellet slinker vi in på ett snabbmatsställe. Musslor i alla dess former och varianter står på menyn. Moni tog musslor med roquefort som var fantastiskt gott. Ännu ett tips att ta med sig hem till Svedala.

Sur le chemin du retour à l'hôtel, nous glissons dans un Restaurant de « Fast Food ». Des moules de toutes ses formes et variétés sont sur le menu . Moni a pris moules au roquefort qui était absolument délicieux. Un autre idé pour apporter à la maison.

On the way back to the hotel we slip in to a fast food place. Mussels in all its forms and varieties is on the menu. Moni took mussels with Roquefort which was absolutely delicious. Another idea to take home to Sweden.

2:a dagen i Paris / La deuxieme jour à Paris / The second day in Paris

Thursday and market day.

Alltid lika underbart att gå omkring och höra ljuden och se alla färger...

C’est toujours merveilleux pour se promener et écouter les sons et voir toutes les couleurs ...

Always wonderful to walk around and hear the sounds and see all the colors ...

Vi är inte så intresserade av de typiska turistställena men inser att vi aldrig varit upp i Montparnasse-skrapan och åker upp 207 meter för..

Nous ne sommes pas particulièrement intéressés par les lieux touristiques typiques (parce que c’est le troisième fois à Paris pour nous..) mais nous rendons compte que nous n'avons jamais été en gratte-ciel de Montparnasse et nous montons 207 mètres ..

We are not so interested in the typical tourist places (as this is the third time in Paris for is) but we realize that we have never been up in the Montparnasse skyscraper so we go up 207 meters ..

Vi vandrar sedan genom Jardin du Luxenburg och inser att vi faktiskt inte varit här någon gång heller!

Nous flânons et traversons le Jardin du Luxembourg en réalisant que nous n’avons pas effectivement été là non plus!

We then walk through the Jardin du Luxemburg and realize that we actually have not been here at some point either!

Även om det är höst finns några vackra blommor även om det säkert är ännu vackrare på sommaren.

Même si c'est l'automne il y a quelques belles fleurs là mais il sera certainement encore plus beau en été.

Although it is autumn there are some beautiful flowers although it is certainly even more beautiful in the summer.

På kvällen är vi rätt trötta efter att ha gått hela dagen så vi orkar inte ta oss längre än till Chez Paul. Kvällen börjar lovande.

Dans la soirée, nous sommes vraiment fatigués après avoir marché toute la journée, et nous n’avons pas le fort pour nous emmener plus loin que Chez Paul . La soirée commence prometteuse.

In the evening, we are really tired after walking around all day so we cannot be bothered to take us further than Chez Paul. The evening begins promising.

Urban tar paté till förrätt som är två jätteskivor. Hur ska man orka något mer?

Pour commencer Urban prend un pâté qui sont deux tranches géants. Comment on peut manger plus?

Urban takes paté for starters which are two giant slices. How will we cope any more food?

Moni tar en ”liten” salladstallrik. Den är enorm!

Moni prend une assiette d’un "petit" salade. Elle est énorme!

Moni takes a "small" salad plate. It's enormous! 

Kaningrytan är inte mindre. Hjälp vilka gigantiska portioner.

La portion de ragoût de lapin n’est pas plus petit. Quelles portions gigantesques.

The portion of rabbit stew is not smaller. Help what gigantic portions!

Sen är magen proppfull men Moni måste självklart ta och prova efterrätten ”passionsfrukt på tre sätt”. Hon blir inte besviken men sen kan hon rulla tillbaka till hotellet.

Puis l'estomac est plein à craquer, mais Moni doit évidemment prendre et essayer le dessert " fruit de la passion de trois façons. " Elle ne devient pas déçue, mais ensuite elle « se roule » à l’hôtel.

Then the stomach is cram-full but Moni, of course, have to take and try the dessert "passion fruit in three ways" She will not be disappointed, but then she can roll back to the hotel.

En mysig kvarterskrog med trevlig och rolig personal men maten är allt för lantligt stabbig med för stora portioner för att vi ska vilja komma tillbaka.

Un restaurant chaleureux avec un personnel amical et amusant, mais la nourriture est trop rustique et bourratif avec de grandes portions pour que nous de vouloir revenir.

A cozy restaurant with friendly and fun staff, but the food is too rustic and stodgy with too large portions for us to want to come back.

Paris

En låång helg i Paris mitt i den gråa hösten. Vilket underbart avbrott i vardagen! 

Un loooong week-end à Paris au milieu de l'automne gris. Quelle merveilleuse pause dans la vie quotidienne!

A looong weekend in Paris in the middle of the gray autumn. What a wonderful break in everyday life!

Vi åker en tisdagkväll för att ”vinna” en dag, kommer fram på kvällen, tar en charkuteritallrik på baren i hörnet och vaknar sen upp i Paris onsdag morgon.

 Nous partons un mardi soir pour «gagner» un jour, arrivons dans la soirée, prenons une plat de charcuteries au bar dans le coin et puis nous nous réveillons à Paris mercredi matin. 

 We leave on a Tuesday night to "win" one day, in the evening, we take a charcuteri plate at the bar in the corner and then wake up in Paris Wednesday morning. 

 Efter en lång sovmorgon börjar dagen med en typisk fransk frukost hos ”grabbarna på hörnet”. Halva priset mot för på hotellet och skillnaden är hårfin.

Après une longue  grasse matinée nous commencons la journée avec un petit déjeuner typiquement français chez «les potes dans le coin." Demi-tarif comparer avec le prix à l'hôtel et la différence est subtile.

After a late morning we start the day with a typical French breakfast at "the guys on the corner." Half price compared to the hotel and the difference is subtle.

Sen bär det av mot stan. Flanerar omkring och så blir det strax dags för en lätt lunch. Moni tar sniglar och.. 

Puis nous nous dirigeons vers la ville. Nous baladons et tout de suite c’est le temps pour un déjeuner léger. Moni prend les escargots et..

Then it's off to town. Stroll around and then it is suddenly time for a light lunch. Moni takes snails and..

Men självklart vill Moni ha något efter sina sniglar så det blir en Café gourmant.

Mais évidemment Moni veux avoir quelque chose après ses escargots donc il y aura un café gourmant.

But of course Moni wants to have something after the snails so there will be a “cafe gourmand”.

Denna dag gör vi en stor shoppingrunda, in och ut i affärer, men vi passerar även intressanta ställen som Centre Pompidou. Men vad är det hon tar kort på??

Ce jour-là, nous faisons un grand tour de shopping, boutique après boutique, mais nous passons aussi des lieux intéressants comme le Centre Pompidou. Mais qu'est-ce qu'elle prend un photo de..?

This day, we make a big shopping trip, in and out of fashion shops, but we also pass some interesting places like the Centre Pompidou. But what is she taking a picture of?

Aha, just nu är det ett projekt på gång med mycket gatukonst i Paris.

Aha, maintenant il y a un projet de « street art » dans les rues à Paris.

Aha, there is a street art project going on in Paris at the moment.

På kvällen går vi till vårt stamställe, Bofinger. Det känns alltid så fantastiskt att gå dit! 

Dans la soirée, nous allons à notre endroit préféré, Bofinger. On se sent toujours aussi bien d'y aller!

In the evening we go to our favorite place, Bofinger. It always feels so amazingly good to go there!

Vi börjar förstås med ett glas champagne!

Nous commençons bien sûr avec un verre de champagne!

We start the evening with a glass of champagne!

Och sen ostron.

Et puis les huitres.

And then oysters.

Servitören står för ovanlighetens stilla en stund men spanar ut över gästerna. Det är det som är så bra med Bofinger. Det har ett fantastiskt teamwork ihop som imponerar och de har full koll på dig som gäst.

Le serveur ne bouge pas pour un court instant, mais avec le regard sur les clients. C'est ce qui est si bien chez Bofinger. Il a une équipe formidable qui travaille ensemble avec une collaboration impressionnant et ils ont toujours une bonne surveillance de chaque client.

The waiter stands unusually still for a while, but keeping an eye on the guests. That is what is so great about Bofinger. They have an amazing and impressive team work together and they have full control of you as a guest.

Till huvudrätt tar vi pilgrimsmusslor med baconchips och surkål som är inbakat i smördeg/filodeg. Ett förfinat sätt att servera surkål på. Det gav en idé att försöka göra det hemma!

Pour le plat principal nous avons des coquilles Saint-Jacques avec des chips de bacon et de la choucroute qui est farci dans la pâte feuilletée. Une façon raffinée pour servir la choucroute. Ca donne une idée à essayer de le faire à la maison!

For the main course we have scallops with bacon chips and sauerkraut that is embodied in pastry. A refined way to serve sauerkraut on. It gave an idea to try to do it at home!

Till detta drack vi ett Alsace-vin som förstås gick perfekt till denna maträtt.

Avec cela, nous avons bu un vin d'Alsace qui a accompagné le plat parfaitement.

To this we drank an Alsace wine that of course went perfect to this dish.

Och plötsligt fick Moni extra körsbär i kirsch och en kaffe till. Det var nog inte helt rätt, förmodligen någon annan som skulle haft det, men man kan ju inte bråka om allt! De var fantastiskt goda!

Et tout à coup Moni reçu des cerises dans le kirsch et un autre café. Ce n'était probablement pas tout à fait correct, probablement il y a quelqu'un d'autre qui aurait avoir ça, mais on ne peut pas argumenter de tout! Ils étaient incroyablement bon!

And suddenly Moni gets extra cherries in kirsch and coffee. It probably was not quite right, probably someone else who should have had it, but you cannot argue about everything! They were fantastically good!

Lagom glada i hatten och väldigt nöjda gick vi förbi baren där Moni drack sin första Mojito för fem år sen. Den var lika god denna gång också!

Bien pompette et très heureux, nous avons passé le bar où Moni a bu son premier Mojito il ya cinq ans. Il était aussi bon cette fois aussi!

A bit tipsy, and very happy we went past the bar where Moni drank her first Mojito five years ago. It was just as good as that time too!

Sen väl tillbaka till hotellet var vi lite väl glada i hatten så vi öppnade helt i onödan den rosa champagnen som låg i kylskåpet… Onödigt men gott!

Alors bien à l'hôtel, nous étions un peu trop éméché ce que nous avons ouvert inutilement le champagne rosé qui était dans le frigo ... Inutile mais vraiment bon!
